Our à la carte services are designed for people who don't need — or don't want — a full renovation package. You know what you need. We bring the licensed trade to get it done.
You're managing your own renovation and doing some work yourself — but you need licensed trades for the regulated stuff. We slot in for just the scope you need, on your timeline.
You manage multiple units or a commercial space and need reliable trades for targeted work — not a full renovation crew sitting around. We show up, do the job, and get out.
You don't need a full reno. Maybe it's a tub-to-shower conversion, a tile backsplash, or an electrical panel upgrade. You just want one thing done properly by someone who's licensed and insured.
Not sure if you need a full renovation or just a single trade? Give us a call at (647) 725-9754 — we'll tell you honestly which approach saves you money. If a full reno makes more sense, we'll point you to the right page.

Hiring a single trade is simpler than a full renovation. Here's our 4-step process from call to completion.
Call or fill out our form. Tell us the specific job — we'll confirm if it's something we handle à la carte or if a full package makes more sense for your situation.
We visit your home or site, assess the job, and provide a written quote with exact scope, materials (if applicable), and timeline. Quote is free — no obligation.
Pick a start date that works for you. Our licensed trade shows up on time, completes the work, and cleans up. Most single-trade jobs finish in 1–5 days.
Walk through the completed work with our team. Everything is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty. If it's permitted work, we handle the inspection.
Need it faster? For urgent jobs (leaking pipe, electrical issue, tenant turnover), we offer priority scheduling. Call (647) 725-9754 and mention "priority service."
No bundled pricing with work you don't want. If you just need tile work, you pay for tile work — nothing else.
Every trade on our team built medical clinics before residential work. The same precision that passes healthcare inspections goes into your home project.
Licensed plumbers and electricians — not handymen doing regulated work. Full liability insurance on every job.
Managing your own reno? We work around your schedule. Need us Tuesday at 8am? Done. Need us to coordinate with your other trades? No problem.
We quote the job, not the hour. Your written quote is your price. No watching the clock, no surprise invoices.
Every à la carte job is backed by the same warranty as our full renovation packages. If something's not right, we come back and fix it.
Not sure which approach is right? Talk to us — we'll recommend honestly.
Answers to the most common questions about hiring individual trades. Can't find what you're looking for? Give us a call.
No. If you need one toilet installed or one wall painted, we'll do it. That said, for very small jobs (under $300), it may be more cost-effective to bundle a few tasks together. We'll always tell you the most efficient approach.
Absolutely. Many of our à la carte clients source their own tile, vanity, fixtures, or flooring and hire us for professional installation. We'll confirm your materials are suitable for the application before we start. If you need help sourcing, we can recommend suppliers.
It depends on the scope. Plumbing and electrical work that involves new rough-ins or modifications typically require permits. Simple fixture swaps usually don't. We'll tell you upfront if your job needs a permit — and if it does, we handle the application and inspection.
Handymen are great for general tasks, but Ontario law requires licensed trades for plumbing, electrical, and gas work. Our plumbers and electricians hold valid Ontario licenses. You also get liability insurance coverage and a written warranty — most handymen can't offer that.
That's exactly what à la carte is designed for. Many of our clients are DIY renovators who handle demolition, painting, and finishing themselves but need licensed plumbers and electricians for the regulated work. We slot into your project timeline.
If we discover something during the work that changes the scope (like hidden water damage behind a wall), we stop and discuss it with you before proceeding. We'll provide a revised quote for the additional work. You approve it before we continue — no surprise charges.
Yes. We work with property managers, restaurant owners, retail spaces, and office buildings. Commercial jobs may require after-hours work to avoid disrupting your business — we accommodate that. Request a commercial quote →
For standard jobs, we can usually schedule within 1–2 weeks. For priority/urgent jobs (plumbing emergencies, tenant turnovers), we offer same-week scheduling when available. Call (647) 725-9754 for availability.
